You will be directly involved in building and executing our operations and customer care strategy as well as its processes, that supports and excites our users, and as such helps expand the circular economy.

Ownership: You own your work and are responsible for delivering results. Work directly with the COO in shaping the way we interact with our users, and share your learnings about their needs with the whole company.
What you'll do (responsibilities)
- You will be working directly with the COO and the product team, as we build up our dynamic and hyper-growth tech start-up. As such, your work will touch on a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- You will be responsible for building up the general stakeholder management incl. retailers, sellers & buyers.
- You will support the C-level in business development tasks based on the knowledge gathered from your direct client interactions.
- You will lead a small but efficient customer care team which are the first persons our users talk to and answer customer inquiries that reach Marko via the various channels (email, social media, etc.).
- You will build the strategy and make decisions on toolings and processes to deliver reports on how to optimize our business.
- You leverage your understanding of our users’ needs, to distribute learnings to relevant roles within the company.
- You work with our marketing, tech and product partners to ensure that customer issues are resolved quickly and sustainably.
- You'll help us continuously develop and improve our customer service processes, to keep service quality high as our customer base grows rapidly.
- You will aid your team in answering complex customer inquiries.
What we are looking for (qualifications)
- We are looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial-driven and creative young professional with a passion to grow both personally as well as professionally. We value initiative, curiosity, and the ability to manage a variety of tasks. We are looking for someone that takes ownership and takes pride in their work.
- You have 3+ year of operations experience preferably in a direct-to-consumer start-up.
- You want to grow and use your skills to broaden your knowledge not just in operations but also business development, product, marketing and tech.
- You have a passion for e-commerce.
- You write and speak German and English fluently; French & Italian would be a plus.
- You like interacting with people and are not afraid of taking initiative in solving complicated problems.
- You have a hands-on mentality, and are only satisfied when our customers’ problems are solved and they are happy.
- You can cope in a start-up environment where many problems arise for the first time ever and processes are always changing.
- You are communicative, empathetic and can’t wait to transfer our enthusiasm for Marko to our customers 😃.
