Tasks
- Verify that the product and its features meet business requirements and customer expectations
- Participate in and organize both documented and ad hoc testing, including feature testing, e2e testing, regression testing, smoke testing, etc. to ensure high-quality releases
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain test cases and checklists
- Detect, report, and follow up on bugs or inconsistencies in the product, catching them before our users do
- Proactively communicate and follow up on test or quality feedback with developers and the analysts or experts involved
- Catch up on new and existing requirements as well as business concepts, in order to better understand our users and ensure quality
- Understanding of client-server architecture
- Keep an eye out for process improvements, new tooling, automation opportunities, etc.
Requirements

Here is a quick outline of what we have in mind for a QA engineer, although we’re also open to variations- 3+ years experience in a QA Engineer role
- 1+ year experience in writing e2e tests using JS or TS frameworks (Cypress, Playwright or similar)
- Experience in analyzing data on a noSQL DB
- Experience with API testing
- Good experience with web developer tools (Chrome devtools, etc.)
- Comfortable with branching strategies and CI/CD
- Experience with team workspace (Confluence or similar)
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated self-motivation, drive, and initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience in a startup is an advantage
- Experience in the finance industry is an advantage

Our product, the HOPR protocol, is a decentralized mixnet which incentivizes data relaying, giving users full data and metadata privacy.
