What your impact will be like:
As a Security Software Developer, you will be a member of our Development team. You will closely collaborate with our back- and frontend developers and professional service engineers, providing specifications, use cases, testing, and design of components for our NDR solution, ExeonTrace. You will take responsibility for key parts of ExeonTrace and solve challenges in building a scalable and advanced solution to help our customers efficiently assess and combat cyber threats. In particular:- You will develop new functionalities of ExeonTrace from prototyping to deployment.
- You will define and develop new security use cases.
- You will do code reviews to test functionality and relevance for customers.
- You will improve the performance of system critical components of our cutting-edge software and contribute to all levels of the architecture.
- You will work on complex problems, troubleshoot and improve software quality.
- You will help our Development team solve problems on the spot.

Job requirements
We are looking for:
We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who’s comfortable in a high-paced start-up environment. In addition, we are looking for certain requirements and skills to establish a good person-job-fit:- An enthusiastic professional who likes to think independently while contributing to a team.
- A professional who has a Master’s degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Cyber Security (or similar) and ideally at least three years of practical experience.
- Experience in programming with Scala or alternatively Java.
- Experience in the cybersecurity field, either as a cybersecurity engineer, cybersecurity consultant or network security engineer.
- Experience with software testing and auditing for vulnerabilities is not required but a plus (such as pentesting).
- A fluent English speaker.
