We are looking for a reliable and flexible head of quality assurance who would like to work in a young, dynamic team and support us with a structured approach to the growth of our company.

At Digt you will be responsible for implementing quality assurance as part of our software development process to create a scalable as well as automated way to ensure high quality standards of our applications. You will work closely with our development team to establish and implement processes for testing and ensuring the reliability, usability, and performance of our software.

Your Mission

In this exciting role you will be responsible for the following tasks:

Quality Assurance

Developing and implementing QA strategies and processes for all software development
Establishment of the internal QA department
Creation and monitoring of test plans and test cases
Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software meets requirements
Identifying and prioritizing software bugs and defects and ensuring they are fixed
Ensuring compliance with quality standards and best practices throughout the development department
Assist in monitoring software releases and ensuring quality of new features
Documenting testing, bugs, and fixes
Collaborate with other departments, including development, to ensure products meet customer requirements

Your profile

Degree in computer science or related discipline
Experience in performing tests and in quality assurance of software products
Experience in taking responsibility and leading QA teams
Experience with test automation and testing tools such as Cypress, Selenium or PHPUnit
Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as NextJS (a must!) PHP (Symfony), Java Script
Good knowledge of agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira and Git
Experience in e-commerce is an advantage
Fluent in English (must have), German (is a plus)
Independent and able to work in a team
Flexible and motivated when taking on tasks
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and methods
Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
