Google Ads Specialist (with German) / part-time / remote

We are looking for a Google Ads specialist to join our growth hacking agency with headquarters in Zurich. As part of a team you will help with the setup and management of Google Ad Campaigns, helping to drive revenue and conversions for our clients. You will undertake weekly checklists to ensure campaigns are performing inline with our goals, and continually review performance to look for improvement opportunities in order to reach and exceed client expectations.

You will get to know our clients and all aspects of our business quickly, so ideally you should be quick to learn, digitally savvy, a great communicator and not afraid of getting your hands dirty.

About the team:
You'll be working within the growth marketing team to help us grow clients through a range of different channels.
You'll work closely with the senior account managers and partners at what., and get the opportunity to collaborate with a range of specialists across channels. Our team is distributed globally, allowing you to be part of an exciting multi-cultural team.

Responsibilities

• Creation of Google Ad campaign strategies, understanding client goals and creating a campaign structure and media plan to reach that goal
  
• Creation of campaign setup to include keyword research and campaign structures (search, display, remarketing, YouTube, app and shopping campaigns)
  
• Creation of creative ad copy
  
• Configuration of Google Ad accounts, including linking to Analytics and import of conversions.
  
• Configuration of Google Merchant Center when required
  
• Conversion testing to ensure account is setup correctly
  
• Ongoing campaign maintenance - alignment with client goals, monitoring keyword bids, daily and monthly budgets, conversions / ROAS, impression share, quality score, and other important metrics. Flagging potential issues with the Account Manager and providing recommended solutions.
  
• Conducting weekly account checklists
  
• Providing campaign performance insights, monitoring and identifying improvement opportunities in line with campaign objectives. Deriving insights from data, creating hypotheses and testing to ensure continual campaign performance improvements and growth. Contributing to monthly reports with insights and data to analyse campaign performance.
  
• Support other Google Ad specialists within the team, and look for continual improvement opportunities for our internal processes
  
Liaising with Google Agency Account Manager to handle disapproved accounts or ads, clarify open topics and look for innovation and improvement opportunities and share with the team.

• Deep knowledge of Google ad campaigns
  
• Structured approach to project work, with good logic and ability to work with spreadsheets
  
• Great problem solver and an ambitious mindset
  
• At least 1-2 years in SEM and PPC, previous exposure to mid size budgets
  
• Ability to constantly acquire new and relevant skills to maintain the competitive edge
  
• Language skills: Language skills: Fluent business German (C2 or higher), English (fluent), all additional languages are a plus
