At Pallon, we are building smart software to automatically report defects in sewer inspection videos and consult cities when to fix them. With more accurate and objective data, we help to prevent wastewater leaks, reduce CO2 emissions, and avoid urban flooding. Our mission is to make cities more sustainable and resilient.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Internal Knowledge Base Manager to join our growing team. The Internal Knowledge Base Manager will be responsible for further developing, redesigning and delivering engaging and informative content for our internal knowledge base. You will work closely with different departments, including quality assurance, customer service, and product development, to create a seamless and effective knowledge base. If you have a background in technical writing, internal knowledge base management or team wikis we would like to hear from you.

💪 Your Responsibilities

We're a fast-growing company and the problems you will face are often challenging and diverse. Some of the tasks you'll be working on are:

• Conduct requirement analysis to determine educational objectives and tailor content to meet needs
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the internal knowledge base and make continuous improvements based on both quantitive and qualitative feedback
• Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product, existing documentation, and learning materials
• Analyse existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities

🎯 Requirements

For a successful application, we recommend the following requirements:

• 5+ years experience as a technical writer or knowledge base manager
• Experience auditing, rewriting and curating knowledge for internal or customer wikis
• Experience using data and analytics to improve knowledge bases
• Engaging and inclusive writing style
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable

The following are not required for you to apply, however, they do add extra value:

• Sewer domain knowledge or civil and environmental engineering knowledge
• Experience setting and implementing strategies for internal knowledge bases
• Experience with Notion, Intercom and analytics software
